2018 Service Book

I didn't receive a service book with my car. After querying this with the dealer, he tells me they've gone digital and all the service info/history will be available in the FordPass app.

Does he speak the truth or am I being told porky pies?

You should still be able to get one surely. Will be a pain in the ass when selling privately. I want to see stamps in a book, not have to download a app :lol:

I got a service booklet in the main folder when i picked up the car

I only got a folder, owners manual and quick reference guide. It was all still in the plastic wrapping.

I think the dealer is fobbing me off, I’ve been all through the FordPass app and there is nowhere that shows the service history. In fact, for us in the UK, the app has very little functionality at all

Go into your Ford dealer & tell them you want a Service booklet.
They give you a generic Ford booklet - at least Evans Halshaw did when I demanded one & got them to stamp the PDI.

No they’re not fobbing you off same with me on my MY17 in the end I bought one off them for £12 and get that stamped

Sure mine came with one as remember seeing the PDI service in it.

Also you checked the other slot on the glove box? Sometimes hidden in their. Should be a yellow tab to pull open

Yep, checked that. Checked everywhere. It’s non existent

yep got a service book with mine, with PDI stamp and warrenty info in aswell....
I cant find any service info on my FORD PASS APP though....

I got one too, it's included in the folder with the quick start guide and the instruction manual.
