Yeah, it's a Peoples thing rather than a Ford thing.
Must be a new initiative. I guess they would assume that someone who collected last April would be WAAAAY above 1500 miles. Little do they know... :D

Will need to get my annual service booked soon.

After saying that I would not let Ford touch my car I have just let them do my 1st service at 1 years old and 9800 miles.

It cost £224 but after I realised that a round trip to Modurstang or GT101 would cost me 3/4 of a tank of fuel I decided to go with it.

What I didn't realise that having it serviced by Ford means I get another year's breakdown cover which is pretty comprehensive. Not sure what that is worth but it has to be at least £100.

Plus they cleaned it which I'm a bit annoyed about cos I was hoping to get the Filthiest Mustang prize at the next meet :D

ETA The sales manager congratulated me on my mileage. He said many were coming in for their 1st service with only 1000 miles or less in a year. Good job I've got 2 cars or it would have been on 20,000.

George,

Let me know the quantities that OP supply please - I have set up a deal with the BG sales guy from Bonnybridge & Automek are gonna get some in.

I bought 1ltr of each
CapitanPug, just got the package delivered, gearbox came in 3x32 fl oz (946ml) so 3 litres essentially and the Diff is 2x32 fl oz, so 2 litres. Also in the kit is the nozzles required to do the fill up, some comprehensive instructions and some stickers/decals.

Are you getting anything else done at Automek? :paddle:

Very speedy service from Optimum Performance

Thanks George

Not got much planned, got an Alloy wheel repair to do (kerbed last year), Rear Vertical Links & change Tranny & Diff Oils - probably do these myself if I get a chance :headbonk:

What 'cunning plans' have you got Baldrick :ninja:

You ready to 'whip it' :headbonk:

No whipping on my limited ability

GT350R wheel, lower GT grill, replacement DD rear side markers and Stanginator front Pony to go on. Going darn sarf to my sisters in London in April, so I've promised myself the headlight mod, where Manders had his done.

Considering fitting bonnet vents, I've got a mint pair in the garage, but I'm going to price up a US spec bonnet.
