If MY2018 is the first refresh for the S550, I think it would be less likely that the GT350 is carried into that refresh. Too many unique body panels to change just for the 350.

So that will cover some of the destination charge - how are you paying for the rest? ;)I personally wish they'd make a Pantera with the Voodoo... That would be something I'd be willing to sell sperm for.
I have a plan... Oh do I have a plan. Capitalism is a wonderful thing. So that will cover some of the destination charge - how are you paying for the rest? ;)

MY18 will be the only refresh for the S550. Ford is shifting cadence on the Mustang to be in line with all their other models. Facelift after 3 years, whole new platform after 6 years. If MY2018 is the first refresh for the S550, I think it would be less likely that the GT350 is carried into that refresh. Too many unique body panels to change just for the 350.
I agree with this but at $60k it's closer to $30k over a GT.It is in the end a $60K Mustang, $20K more than a GT which fits most every need a mustang owner has, competes with a GT500 that beats it in ways that are important to many mustang buyers, and faces stiff competition with a Camaro at a cheaper price. Gentleman's bet that the bean counters at Ford got it right with the 2 year planned run. Only my thoughts.
I agree a modern version of the Pantera with an Italian body and Voodoo mid-ships would be spectacular.I personally wish they'd make a Pantera with the Voodoo... That would be something I'd be willing to sell sperm for.
I wonder if Ford Performance would invest in Lincoln brand to compete with Cadillac V.Im willing to bet there will be a GT500KR coming too. 12 by 2020 and we have how many?
Ford GT
Raptor
Focus RS
GT350
GT350R
GT500
GT500KR
Mach1
Fusion RS?
Tuarus sho?
What are the other 2 going to be and when do they fit them in?
IMO they dont want to overextend themselves. They had a plan initially and i think, in the end they will stick to it.
Ford Performance will not touch Lincoln.I wonder if Ford Performance would invest in Lincoln brand to compete with Cadillac V.
Yeah, because sales are lagging with the current design... ;)Sales of GT350 could soar.
I'm all for extending the GT350 production, but I don't believe a refresh will lead to a lighter, more aerodynamic car. That would take a ground up redesign. If there is a refresh for MY2018, I don't see a refresh prevent production of a 2018 GT350. A refresh could mean a lighter and even more aerodynamic and more powerful GT350. Sales of GT350 could soar.
How about one of these models in no given order!Im willing to bet there will be a GT500KR coming too. 12 by 2020 and we have how many?

When making these lists everyone forgets about the FoST and FiST.Im willing to bet there will be a GT500KR coming too. 12 by 2020 and we have how many?

People leave out the ST because the press release said "more than 12 new cars" and that was in '14 when STs were already being pumped out. http://www.autoblog.com/2014/12/11/ford-promises-12-new-global-performance-vehicles-through-2020/When making these lists everyone forgets about the FoST and FiST
Don't believe what any dealer tells you about future production. They have no idea. Their only knowledge is sales. Not production numbers.I thought that there was a very reputable dealer that confirmed a 5 year run for the GT350/R. I am betting there are going to be 2018's.
