Do you like the PP rear wing? Does it do any thing or just for looks? Let me know how you feel and why.

I don't like the middle supports it has. I also feel like it's too low/short to add any substantial downforce.

I would actually love to swap mine out with a GT/CS spoiler. I think those looked the best.

It's just looks, they don't actually produce down-force. The cars looks 1000% better without them.

Agreed. I was in the 350-R wing camp but the car looks so clean without it.

At the $1000 plus asking price from the parts department, if I was thinking about any spoiler, I would NOT order spoiler delete (I'm assuming spoiler delete does not reduce the MSRP of the car). Someone will buy the factory spoiler from you.

Yes, it's functional.

The front splitter adds 24lbs of downforce at 80mph.
The rear spoiler adds 60lbs of downforce at 80mph.

Then you have a bunch of holes to fill. And trying to find someone in your area who has the same color car and wants to trade his spoiler delete trunk + cash for a car with a factory PP wing is a pain in the ass. I tried for months to trade my OW GTCS trunk + spoiler for a spoiler delete trunk and never found one. I just bought another trunk.

Which is why I said IF you are going to put on an aftermarket spoiler to cover the holes.

I didn't catch that in your original post, my bad.

I thought this was the stats from the PP2? Do we have any real data on the PP1 equipment?

At any rate, I like it. It's not too flashy, but adds a little character to the plain back. That said, I'd probably choose the regular GT spoiler IF the functionality was the same.

Yeah, he's quoting the PP2 spoilers as the PP1 info. I've not seen any real data on the PP1 spoilers.

Extensive time in the wind tunnel with former NASA aerodynamics specialists brings a new, aggressive splitter. Starting with the coffee table of a splitter from the old, beloved Boss 302 Laguna Seca, the team developed a new one that will provide approximately 24 pounds of downforce at 80 mph, which should help keep the nose planted through higher speed corners. Likewise, a reworked spoiler will help balance the increase in front downforce, giving the package a total of roughly 60 pounds of downforce at 80 mph.

The new wing adds +40 rice. Looks excellent without any wing or if anything, a minor lip.
