2018 Mustang New Wheels Options

Those 20" wheels look like garbage compared to the 20" Foundry wheels offered previously.

We explain to Ford that wheels need to be wider, I have the premium GT in 18x8" but want wider to fit a 285. At least I see more choices.

Right. Some classes restrict you to stock wheel widths, but allow wider than stock tires. So a PP with 9 & 9.5" wheels is at a major disadvantage to a 1LE with 10 & 11 wheels.

At least give us a stand alone square 10" wide wheel option. Then they are legal on all Mustangs and you don't need to find just the right option package.

We still haven't seen the PP2 19" with MR option in the wild AFAIK. I've only seen it in this thread. Somebody in another thread said they spotted 2018 mules with square 305's (but no pictures). Hmm

That 20 inch wheel would be my choice. The 19 inchers just look small. Now if they only came in gun metal...

Peformance Pack 2 19" wheels.

Fronts 19x10.5 ET24 , 31.4lbs
Rears 19x11.0 ET48, 30.4 lbs

Comes with 305/30/R19 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 on all four wheels, even though the rims are different sizes.

Seems like they should have 295 width on the fronts, since you can't rotate the tires b/c of the different offsets.

I'm guessing some people might try four 10.5" wheels and do a 295 square set up with spacers on the rear.

I believe squared tire set ups are better for handling, though.
