^^This. The extended front fenders make the car about 1.5" wider in the front. The hood is also lower by about 3/4".
great observation! Thanks, it looks like it is really more the front face then. Same width but more aggressive styling on the 350.^^This.
It's not HUGELY significant but it's noticeable. The 350's lower hoodl line definitely makes it look super pissed off.
The Mustang GT from bang on almost looks a little happy go-lucky. Not a bad thing but just a really pleasant look.
Much of the same story with the '18 car. Although the hood line is more flow formed with the rest of the fender rather than stepping up like the 15 - 17 cars. The grill has been lowered closer to the headlights. The hood swoops down at a much more aggressive angle than the 15 - 17 car. This is where a lot of people see the fish head thing.
And the GT350.
Look at the cowl lines. They're flush with the base of the hood; it's not really even a cowl anymore. The GT hood rises and has step ups. The GT350's does not. Look at the top of the grill too. Notice how it rises clearly above the headlights. The GT350 is more flush to that line. Not quite but close. The headlights are lower as well too. You can also clearly see where the width comes from. See where the headlights on the GT are flush to the body line laterally? The GT350 has some fender sticking out from it. It also has more angry slant eye where as the GT again, has that step up for the cowl. The 350 definitely has more of a diving in for the kill type of look.
Correct, I believe 20mm lower.GT350s have the best hood/sightline.
Iirc, the headlights sit lower as well compared to the standard mustang.
