Has anyone installed headers themselves on an 18 A10?

I am preparing to do so myself and haven't really gotten a chance to review under the car for jacking points on the engine to lift up each side for installation, now that the oil pan is composite.

Just curious what others have done.

Just put on a set. I supported the motor using the front of the trans with no problem. What headers? Make sure you have correct o2.
Excellent. That is what I was anticipating. I am installing Stainless works. What do you mean by correct o2?

Sorry the correct o2 extensions. The 18 is a flat 6 pin. The 15-17 extensions don't fit.

YOU CAN USE STOCK O2 AND THEY REACH ON MANUAL ONLY.
Who makes the new extensions? I'll order them today, thank you for the heads up.

Idk what the proper setup is required for stainless works but I remember someone buying the oem passenger side for the driver side due to its extra length.

JR3Z-9F472-A, Ford dealers have it you can try levittown and the others or CJPP.

The ac Line is a bit different on the 2018. It fit closer to my Arh long tube than on my 2015 but it still clear the ac line and fit well. I know 2015 bbk is a no go a friend try it. I have seen other brand like mbrp fit real close but don't know for stainless work

I cut the wires from the o2 itself and extend the wire myself has no extension was easy to find at that time.

Don't put weight on the composite pan. Use the transmission

Thanks for the tip. I'll probably just order the o2.

Do you have a sound clip of your car? Looking at your setup, it's almost exactly how mine will be.

I’m curious if you run into any other issues. My SW headers off my 15 are sitting in my garage waiting on install

No I don't!

My friend got a vid at the track on his phone but was not able to send it to me.

I did prefer the sound of my 2015 with the same mods and exhaust but going thru the magnaflow race catback. The 2018 sound a bit more raspy on the street but in full open valve at the track it sound crazy !! Like it a lot then

Did you finish up the install? I'm going to install the same headers on my 18 this weekend.

did my 18 last weekend..drivers side 1 1/2 hours, passenger side 2 days.. gotta pull studs ,extremely tight lots of blind bolting..this was on a lift with 2-3 guys helping ...call pypes headers tech line for extensions, they have 150 extensions for the 18 in stock but they all are just 12' long..its too loud after dropping resonator as well..but it sounds mean as hell.
