If this is the wrong place to ask this question I apologize in advance maybe someone can point me in the right direction as my searchs turned up no results. My question is this. I’m purchasing a 2018 digital gauge cluster from a totaled vehicle how do I flash it and adjust the mileage? Would I do that through the forscan software after it is installed or is there a way to do it before install. I’m wanting to install in a 2017 GT Premium and have started collecting the other parts needed. Thanks.

Just going off of what ive been reading. This is uncharted territory and i wouldnt recommend unless you are very talented at programming/retrofitting stuff yourself.

The ford dealership can fix your mileage for you. Just make sure they dont flash the entire thing. Also if you work with Breeves here you could mail the unit to him and have him program everything correctly and he would ship it back. Id PM him if i was you. (ofc you will need to pay for this service)

It will not work in older mustangs then a 2015.

Mileage cannot be changed by the ford dealer. They don’t have the tools to do it. I can do it for a fee. PM if interested.

does anyone know which module and what settings need to be changed to display the MYColor option on the 2018 cluster, i had the MyColor option before changing the Cluster and im sure it was on the 2018 cluster when it was first installed but now its gone

Finally got the right part for the lower cruise control switch, now the last thing that doesn't work is the MyColor. I checked the BCMB codes and they are correct (the car has mycolor hardware), but I have extra lines that aren't covered anywhere else. Every code I find ends with 7B7-06-01. My BCMB has lines past that, 7B7-07(08, 09 and 10)-01. Any ideas? Everything else with the swap works, just can't figure out what I need to do to get MyColor to work.

Thanks. I will try a few things and let you know what I find out. Not having the mycolor option is really starting to bother me so I need to get it working

Does anyone know the values for remote start? I do not have that option in my cluster menus any more, but it still works. Just want to make sure the HVAC Setting are set correctly. According to the manual it is done through the information screen and if I remember correctly that is where I set it on my old cluster.

im getting my cluster reset back to factor this week, once i do that i will install it and see if the mycolor comes back, if so i will send you a copy of my settings
