Don't care about the engine cover but like the black hood vent openings in the pictures of the orange fury GT. Haven't seen that yet. Btw, a dealer just told me that they would be receiving 2018s as soon as September/October. Riiiight

I thought production start is 10/2. Then we wouldn't see any 2018s until November.

Yes. Misplaced, horrible looking angles everywhere. On the other hand, the '18 takes no cues from the R. No center supports, and no gentle organic curve.

The 2018 spoiler obviously gets its cues from the GT350R.
I stand by what i said.
EDIT: I see now the jnward curve on the outside supports. Aside from that though...

So on the right side of the 2018 engine cover I'll be cooking pancakes, in the middle; scrambled eggs and the left side bacon. If you have requests, there will be an additional fee. It's ugly!

It looks like you have to remove the strut tower to remove the engine cover. The more I see of the 18' the more I like my 16'.

The new power would be nice, but I agree the 15-17' engine bay is MUCH nicer looking. I'd like to see more of the actual engine. The 15'-17' cover isn't too bad either and still let's you see the heads/coil covers. They should have taken more hints from the GT350 and added a track pack style spoiler for example. I loved the 2015 Mustang from the first time I seen one, but this one might have to grow on me, which isn't a good thing.
