Hahahaha, and they will keep the "5.0" badges for nostalgia purposes to sell more cars -- you know, kind of like what Chrysler/Dodge does with the HEMI that isn't a real HEMI.442 big block. I have a friend whose wives sisters brothers uncle talked to a guy at cars n coffee that said he read it from a comment on a forum that was a screen cap of a guy on Facebook who said his dads brother use to work for Ford 48 years ago talked to his former manager as he was dying on life support. He asked him the same question and he his last breath was ffffffffoorrrrfffffffoorruugggghhhh, so he assumed he meant 442.

Not if whoever posted what google linked to did his math correctlyGoogle, the arbiter of all things these days, says via its conversion that 1000 cc = 61.0237 cubic inches. It further says that 4951 cubic centimetres = 302.7388 cubic inches.
Google couldn't possibly be wrong now could it?
