Ford Canada has already increased the base price 2 times, it's now 63788, when i got my tech pack i paid 62599, plus options. The new price will be at least the 63788 plus the track pack option, 8100. I wouldn't be surprised if the new base price is 74 to 75k including delivery.
Exactly, $71K-72K base price+ $1750 prep& delivery + taxes . Get your lube ready Canucks. :hail:

Last year it was 3 GT350s for every R with the exception of the R lottery. Brian stated 2 GT350s & 1 R which is different than last year.
Unless they got a lottery R

Sorry, but how do you figure Ford Canada will charge us for the '16 track pack option when it's already been "amortized" into the '17s base price?

I'm not saying you're wrong, only that I hope it not to be true. As it is, these cars tend to sell for MSRP in much of Canada as is (non-Rs, anyway), and therefore I think Ford might not want to fuck us too deeply. We will see.

Don't get your hopes too high. It will definately be a $71K-72K cad base '17 Shelby.

Basically they added the '16 TP package to the '16 US base model to come up with the '17 base price.

Perhaps but, I don't believe that the lottery allocations, if there are going to be lottery allocations for 2017, get released at the same time as the "earned" allocations.

Just got an official price from my dealer for a 17 base R with OTT (identical to my 16). Looks like pricing is only $125 higher than same content for MY16. :eyebulge: Kinda expected a bigger price increase.

Waiting to hear his allocations for MY17, which he should learn today. Looks like MY17 is getting underway.

The GT350/GT350R is one of the best sounding performance vehicles on the market today and you are concerned about an upgraded stereo?

I have never even turned the radio on when driving my GT350 and I am very happy that I don't have a radio/AC/nav on my GT350R. The same applies to the Boss 302 cars that I own.

For me the sound of the exhaust does it for me but obviously everyone has different priorities when buying a performance vehicle.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:
In today's age a premium priced vehicle should have a nice sound system in my opinion. No matter how nice the exhaust note is, I should still have the option to enjoy music at high quality for $60k.

Keep in mind this starts as a $25K rental car with a really expensive powertrain and suspension. All of that bespoke development cost has to be spread across a relatively small production of cars. Ford certainly could have included a higher quality audio option but it would just add to the price and for a quasi-track vehicle I don't see that being high on the priority list.

A $60K Audi will be far higher quality in any objective sense (stereo included) - but with a 2.0T engine shared across hundreds of thousands of cars. Different strokes...

Certainly respect your decision but obviously you and I have different priorities when it comes to the sounds of these fantastic cars.

Enjoy your new "Hellcat" and I hope to see you soon with your new ride!

Thank you. I still would like to check out one of your 350's if you bring them here. Me buying a Hellcat was simply down to the fact that I could get it for $2k under msrp and couldn't find a 350 for msrp, which I've never paid on any car anyway, but was willing to for the 350. Hellcat does have an 18 speaker Harmon Kardon sound system from the factory, and arguably one of the best factory exhaust notes. It's definitely no road course car though.

When do you guys think the a ford.com build and price tool will change from 15/16 to 16/17? Would like to toy with it to see what the different schemes will look like.

My wife and I were out for a spin on Sat.
After a bit, i turned on the radio ( first time when driving)
Thought she might like it. less than a minute later
she turned it off, she said car sounds to good to have radio on.
Last night 2 hour drive no radio:)

Thats what this car is about and if you you don't get that, maybe not the car for you :)

Trevor, I hope that your weather is improving quickly so that you can take your early built R model out for some spirited driving.

You have such beautiful country side along with some twisty roads in your area for you to explore once the warm weather hits.

Looking forward to seeing you and your beast this Fall!

The only time the radio comes on is when I'm cruising on the freeway in 6th gear. Someone should figure out how to set the radio to go mute as soon as the exhaust opens up.

Still cool here, so careful with tires, not enough heat in them.
No salt on roads, last night was nice and the head turns and thumbs up everywhere:)
Stopped for a coffee and had 4 cars and another 6-7 people stop to look at it :)

This car is pure pleasure to drive, even when just cruising around town.
Had 2 cops do quick head turns and smile. ( hope not to much attention from them :)

Harry, can't wait to see you again and meet your better half :)

Sad things is they are calling for snow tonight :(
hopefully not enough to make any difference.
