I do recognize that finding an MSRP deal is difficult and that you've probably already tried a different dealership.

I was at a Ford dealer up where I work to get my 16 GT Premium's oil changed. I always like to change the oil on a new car at 1000 miles.

While waiting at the dealer, I did a no-no. I walked through the showroom and front and center were 2 GT350's. The AG 17 had a halo around it and I heard cherubs signing:D I went in for an oil change and came out with an AG 17 with the convenience package. They also had a 16 Track Pack car and I'm glad they did. I realized quickly that the Recaro's, while a great seat, would not work for me.

They had the 17 AG marked up 10K. This was in July. At first they refused to budge and low balled me on my 16 with 1100 miles that was 45 days old. After working for at least 2 hours I got them down to 7500 ADM and they basically gave me back what I paid for the 16 Gt Premium minus warranties, fees etc.

So yes, I payed ADM and I'm not disappointed I did. My time is very valuable and to see what some go through trying to get a 17 at MSRP would just take too much time and add too many variables. I'd do it again in a second as I had most of the summer to enjoy my car.

I hope everyone can get into a 17 GT350. It's an amazing car.

Found a 17 for only 5k over. Not sure if this is a good deal, or a great deal.

OK, for So Cal, if you can cut that in half, better.

Is this face to face, or emails ? Or wait till end of month......

That's not bad for Socal, this time last year when I was calling around everyone wanted 20k over.
I'm right around the corner from AN Torrance if someone needs me to check out the car for them?

I had written this in another forum. I got my 2017 with convenience package for 1K under MSRP doing this.

Ok guys. If anyone else needs advice. Go to cars.com and research. Not all of the prices are real so just go to the dealer websites and check the inventory. Then contact them to make sure.

don't be afraid to buy out of state. ship it. or go get it and drive back.

The dealers are doing the same. Buying these good deals and then marking them up. Scum. yeah yeah capitalism.

I just ordered a Raptor from a dealer in MD for MSRP. I went back to the same dealer for a GT350 and they wanted 5k over for an order. I did not do it. I cant get my self to pay over sticker. Im going to wait till winter and try to get it at sticker then.

Got my 2017 GT350 four days ago white with blue strips and electronic package with $2750 markup. Pretty sure I can get a little bit better deal either waiting for another month or go with dealer locates farther but I'm willing to pay for the spec and convenience since I drove the car back the same day I made the purchase. Recaro seats, Navigation and better speakers, also 2017 comes with track package as standard. Moreover it was made in 2016/9 which isn't the car with recall issue.
