I've given hope getting a VIN for today. Looks like by the time they give me one , we'll know all the specs of the '17 MY . I might as well order a '17 ! Maybe a Mach one will be available as well .
Can't give up now. What are ya gonna do with all those parts in the garage???

I'm only one step ahead of you. Wheels will be here Tuesday, but still have no idea when the car will leave Area 51 on a truck. And honestly, I DON'T have room in the garage for them. They'll be parked in the family room until I get the car.

Some day, you'll laugh about this like I do about my 2011 that got lost and ended up in KC instead of Atlanta. Kick back, have a few Molson's and chill. Tonight may be the night!

That is all...

Carlos & Company's MRR FS01's. 19 x 10 +35 square setup in gloss black. Wanted to put tires on them when the car gets here, so they'll be ready to put on when I get it home, but no room. Wife's OK with them bein' in the family room in boxes, but I DON'T want to temp fate! You know... when the answer you get to a question is "Whatever!"... which really translates to: FU! :D

Your delivery date still showing 9/28? I think without Deysha, we'd all be wandering aimlessly. Mine's sitting been sitting in Area 51 since Tuesday afternoon, and COTUS is still telling me: "Whatever!"

Nice, those should look great with TY. I'm going to see how I like the silver PP wheels, I have black AMR's on my 2010 and want a change. I may go with some Bathurst's if the stockers don't suit...or I get sick of cleaning them. :D But I'll be going with 19s if/when I go aftermarket. To me the 20's are just a tad "too much".

I guess the ETA is still the same...no way to track it myself. :frusty:

I ordered a white GT PP with most options (no recaros, no stripes) in June with the absolute need for the car by mid September. I got my vin about a week ago and with no estimate for build or delivery, I either had to find one already built or forget about getting the Mustang.

Today I bought a 2016 GT in Northern Viginia with everything I ordered except it had black wheels (I ordered/wanted silver) and no adaptive cruise. Luckily neither of those were deal breakers for me.

My first thoughts are that the car is great. Build quality seemed great when I looked for common issues others have reported here. I've had a 2002 WS6, a 2005 GTO with all bolt-ons, but I've been mostly carless since mid 2010 with only work cars (and a right hand drive car for a couple years).

3.73 gears may be a bit more to live with as a daily driver than I expected. I don't notice the bounciness others have in the PP, but I had full suspension upgrades on my GTO so maybe I'm used to harsh rides. The car has less body roll than I would have thought from reviews and feels planted and solid. Brakes are awesome and I don't notice too much nose dive, but I haven't braked really hard yet.

Interior is awesome and so is Sync 3. I don't have experience with MyFord Touch, so I can't compare. The Shaker stereo sounds good to me, but I'm not an audiophile.

Surprisingly, I can hear the engine and exhaust more than I could in my GTO which had LTs and a catback, but I'm attributing this to probably the sound tube which I think gives just the right amount of engine noise in the cabin to let you know what's going on.

Clutch pedal is beyond terrible. Lightest clutch I've ever had and the compound bow effect of the clutch spring makes the clutch super annoying. I'm sure pulling the spring tmrrw will fix this based on what people have reported here.

Only upgrades planned for now are MGW shifter, mild tint, and catback. Stock shifter isn't the worst, but could be better. Also, the transmission thud everyone hates is pretty normal. I had it on my 2002 WS6, my 2005 gto, and the two motorcycles I've had. I would always get the thud going to 1st or reverse on those cars too.

Overall a great car so far. Maybe someone from here will get the one I ordered but couldn't wait for. :ford:

3.73 are still my only reservation about the PP. I wasn't happy with them when i did the test drive but figured I'd get used to it. Really wish Ford gave the option of 3.55 with the PP. No matter, I've worried enough about it and just want to get my car to see for myself. Congrats on the new ride! Also good to hear that SYNC3 is great.

As always Deysha is AMAZING! Just received a PM that my car is going in for production 09-16 with an EDD of 10-10. I think it is so amazing that Deysha is on these borads. I haven't ordered a car before but I have a hard time imagining that other brands have people like Deysha to provide constant updates any time you ask. Hats off to Ford and especially Deysha.

Deysha
I just want to give Deysha a thumbs up here. I PM'd her with a delivery question and she replied with information the dealer didn't want to be bothered or don't know how to get me  I bought a V6 that was ordered for dealer stock that just got on the train so is not something I can track on COUTUS from what I understand, though the dealer can with the right information.

Deysha you're a real plus for the Ford Motor Company and probably helps it sell more cars :ford:
