Is there anyone else other than me and Montreal Ponies that is in the still no VIN club? I ordered 7/8, no vin, no build date.
And yesterday when I called Ford, they told me the color is Oxford White, I ordered Deep Impact Blue. This car is going to give me an ulcer! Dealership was closed yesterday, I have to call as soon as they open to confirm the color.

How is this possible, I ordered mine way before. I dont get it :(

Orders are scheduled based on the following criteria, S5fiddy:
- the priority code rating
- the dealer's allocation for each production week
- the ordered option content
- the receipt date
The receipt date is a factor when breaking ties for orders with the same priority code. Therefore, the date is the last factor. I hope this helps.

Called the Ford Service # earlier today and they said the production date is within the next two weeks, although nothing was in the system officially when I got a PM later from Deysha.

No build date has been assigned to your order yet, Syracuse315. It has a tentative build week.

Just got my information from the always amazing Deysha. My retail order had a VIN assigned last Thursday and the car went into production on Tuesday with an EDD of September 29. Kinda special build date as it was my 2 year anniversary.

I ordered back in May and still dont have a build date. It's lame.

Just got word from Deysha and my dealer: driving mine off the lot on Monday afternoon!
Still thinking about where to drive to break it in. Lots of twisty mountain roads here that are good candidates...

No front plate, no dealership wash. I'll let it cool off a bit and do a basic wash tonight to get the transport crap off it. Then another on Sunday with a full wash/wax.

My GTwas built on 8/11, released on 8/16 and ultimately shipped some time ago. It's been sitting in Houston area lot after delivery from train for some time (?). It's going to take another week to get to my dealer about 35 miles away as per latest communication.

I'm brand new to the forum but I'm looking to build a 2016 Mustang GT Premium Magnetic. If I placed my order today, what is a realistic time frame to see delivery of the car?

Glad to be a member of the forum.

I just placed my order and was told 6-8 weeks on the delivery. I purchased the GT Premium with PP. Can't wait for it to arrive, the test drive was awesome! The car is a beast compared to the '89 GT I had!

Just sold my 2014 Roushcharged GT/CS modded Mustang. Ordered a 2016 GT/CS automatic, 355 gears, adaptive cruise control, reverse camera, 401 package ..........etc. The color ordered was Ingot Silver with the black painted roof option.............Dealer say around nine weeks for arrival. I will now own a 2015 & 16 . The new Mustang will remain factory stock. The only change may be for a new cat back exhaust. All the final details were concluded at the dealership yesterday. This is the 4th Mustang that will have purchased over the years.:ford:

Be sure to double check the order number with your dealer, Brendan688. The one I have says Magnetic Gray. Let me know what they say.

Picked mine up from the dealer yesterday. Meant to take pictures, but I was having so much fun driving it I didn't stop until after dark Pictures soon, I promise.

Ragtop experience is really great. Cranked up Dick Dale on the SYNC system and could hear fine at 70-80 MPH with the top down.

Deysha just sent me a PM. My car was sent into production today! It was set for the 9/14 build week but apparently got bumped up to today! ETA of 9/30/15 to be delivered to by dealer! Only thing that sucks is I plan to be out of town that week for work :(. Hopefully it takes a bit longer lol

Congrats StangMan04. I got the same news from Deysha today. Went to the plant today and ETA of 9/29-ish. Let's hope all goes to plan and we get our cars around that time. Got a link for my window sticker but won't be viewable until tomorrow. It's finally time to get excited. :cheers:
