Do we know if Redline will be available with Guard for 2016?

The track pack on the 13/14 'Stangs were only available on Manuals. The brembo brake package was available on GT Autos but didn't include the boss 302 radiator from the track pack. The v6 had the option of the performance package in Auto(that was a first on the 13/14's). Who knows? Maybe us limited edition owners might have exclusivity forever! There really is no explanation. The 50th anniversary edition is the only way to have gotten a GT auto with PP. Myself and many others are holding out for a PP and auto combination. The interesting thing is that for the S197 generation, the 11/12 did not offer a similar package for the autos (track package I believe is what it was called), but was introduced for the 13/14 model year. I hope we don't have to wait until 2017 for a PP/auto combo.
Being new to the Mustang , that is some interesting info. I hope we don't have to wait either. There really is no explanation. Unfortunately the new color is "Shadow Black" and not "Tuxedo Black", I do wish it was the other way around.I had the Tuxedo Black on My 2013 SHO. Many people think it has Metallic flaks in it, but it is glass and when the sun hits it the color really pops off the car. I received many compliments on it.
2010-2011?Ford rarely ever upgrades engines after one year. The mid cycle refresh will likely be 2018 maybe 2017. Maybe it will get more power if the new 10 spd automatic arrives.
What I think he's getting at is that Ford has put old engines in new bodies to only upgrade the engines a year later. So it wouldn't be too far left field for the GT or V6 to get an upgrade.94-95 mustangs had the same 5.0 that had been in the fox body since 1986. They changed a few things. But for the most part was the same as the 93 and earlier.
The 2010 mustang was the new body styling but had the same 3v as the 05-09. The only changes as far as I know were the intake, it received the same intake as the 5.0, and the removal of the charge motion plates.
Ford and most manufactures won't spend globs of money in r&d, production, and whatever else comes with it for a 1 year producton run.
Correct, the new black is Shadow Black and not Tuxedo Black. FWIW; Tuxedo Black is metallic and not glass, it has red and blue flake in it to emulate a prism's light refraction. Easily one of the best colors, (as long as you don't have to re-spray it to match!) but not available on the Mustang for 15 or 16.Unfortunately the new color is "Shadow Black" and not "Tuxedo Black", I do wish it was the other way around.
That would be actually pretty sick.Over on another Forum (yes, I frequent other bars...) someone was saying that there is a rumor that the hood vents on the GT will have turn signals in them facing back to the driver like the (I think) 1968's.
I vaguely remember turn signals in the back of the hood scoop on my buddies 1969 but it is a very foggy memory.
