If you get AS avoid Pirelli AS at all costs. Used to be a great cheaper AS with excellent traction, comfortable ride, very high wear (15K miles) now they lost the great ride so a complete waste of money.

Toyo Proxes Sport AS, Yokohama Advan AS Plus, and Bridgestone Potenza AS Plus are great all around, losing only 5-8% ultimate traction in optimal conditions to UHP Summer, and maybe 1% to Michelin AS4S. Do not use at track they will be destroyed in no time.

Michelin is nice too but ride is worse, and sidewalls blow out easily....the only two reasons I don't buy them.

These will give you a decent quiet daily ride, good handling and braking in shoulder seasons and summer as well as rain.

Yea Brembos, so I'll have to stay with 19's. Is there a spacer of some kind to be removed if I go to a square 19" setup?

You don't have to stay with 19" but only few models of 18" wheels fit over Brembo calipers (Apex for sure - I have two sets of their 18" wheels).

With square setup you typically need to add spacer in the front - but it depends on the wheel width and offset. Narrower wheels (like Ford 9" wide 19" diameter wheels with 45mm offset) fit square just fine - anything wider than that and you'll need a spacer up front.

19x10x.35 also work well all around. Perfect choice for 285 tires

Keep in mind the only benefit to wider tires is some rear traction increase in optimal conditions, and looks by far.

Downsides incl tramlining, increased wear and tear on front end, increased rotating mass, increased unsprung mass, larger turning circle, 20-30% + higher cost, less selection.

I did 265-40-19 square Potenza AS and it was fine untill tires got to 7/32 then it tramlined like crazy. I tossed them. Went back to 255-40-19. I plan on new tires annually at about 12K miles.

You can get the 90% looks with offset though....I think I'm have 40 offset and tires are near flush. Had to install rokblokz because my PPF quarter panels were getting road dust and rocks splatter.

255/40-19 take offs from 2016 GT. So with some off sets I could run these square and keep my other set for summer or track tires. Is this correct? How would I calculate the offset required?

Are you talking wheels and tires, or tires only? I recommend getting all season take-off wheels for daily use, vacation, and cold months. Tires will last a long time. I got OEM 8.5" wide Dark Stainless wheels with Pirelli all season tires in 255/40 for just $700 and maybe 100 miles on them. All four wheels/tires are the same. No spacer is needed, but I run a front spacer to make them not tuck under the fender so much and to look more like the rear wheel stance. Note that you can only run about a 1/4" slip-on spacer before having to change over to longer studs and (possibly) open-end lug nuts.

You don't have to stay with 19" but only few models of 18" wheels fit over Brembo calipers (Apex for sure - I have two sets of their 18" wheels).

@Sigmeister this is good info.
If you think you may want to go on track, you can use your current wheels/tires that came with your car. Your post #1 did not specify, but do you need to replace tires now? If so, then I recommend two sets of wheels - all-season, and summer tires.

Yes - those will work just fine. I have a set of 255/40R19 Conti DWS06 on a set of those wheels. They're 45 mm offset and work just fine. You don't need to calculate anything unless you start squeezing some wide tire on that wheel.
