I feel for my dealer. He has several of the local companies cars around here on order and hes getting bombarded with status updates. He did say according to his regional rep that the cars should get pulled next week. I just chuckled and told him I wouldn't hold my breath.

Hang in there, its going to be a great car and I look forward to getting it on the track and getting it performing competitively.
So true.

I guess it's all a matter of perspective. If the worst thing we have going is waiting an extra couple of weeks to get our beautiful new cars, life is ok.

I'm a stock order, job 2, told by my dealer today that I had a 10/6 build week. Tricia told me earlier this week, without a firm date, that it would be mid-Oct.
Same type order as you. I got my VIN yesterday, Tricia told me today a "late October" build week.

My vin showed on 9/11. Fingers are crossed. I need to figure out when to sell my current car.

Who is "Tricia" that I have seen mentioned quite a few times in this forum?

Talked to a guy on FB that works for Ford on the line. He got to take a car home for the weekend. He stated that there was issues in the JOB1 builds that will have to be tinkered with. But they are scheduling retail orders and getting the line ready for full production this week.

Thanks for that information. Did he clarify what requires tinkering? Fit and finish? Component problems?

He did not but I plan on asking him after church. He is in RMR with me and that's where I get some of my information from. He said small issues and "tinkering" so I doubt it's anything big

I look forward to hearing back from you on this.

Does this concern anyone else that has a Job1 car? I hope I'm reading into it and don't end up with an issue plagued car.
