From my dealers source, he says first retail builds are supposedly starting on the 27th... Had to double check my email but hopefully us retail guys should start seeing some VINs soon?

That would be a Saturday if you mean Sept. 27th. Did he mean October? I hope he meant September.

Hopefully that's right, and it would seem to line up with the OKTB coming next week and scheduling of retail orders starting on Thursday. Looking forward to the transition to retail orders, but probably not as much as those of you that have retail orders.

I just checked with my dealer, and he said this:

"We were just advised of the VIN ourselves this morning as your car scheduled yesterday at 2pm our time. The build week will be published in the next daily update, so should be showing tomorrow. As the car was previewing to schedule earlier in the week, Ford had shown the build week as 10-6. We’ll see if that holds true. No Mustangs have been released for shipment at this time. Once they start shipping, I will be more confident in suggesting that your car will be here by the end of October. Thanks for your patience during this process."

I just got the same thing, probably because they are just updating it:

Primary Features Build Date: 30.11.0002 Vehicle Line: Mustang (S550) Engine: MOD 5.0L-4V DOHC SEFI NA Transmission: 6 Speed Manual Transmission-MT82

Yours is working now on http://www.etis.ford.com/. I looked it up before.. along with everybody else's on here.
Mine just showed up on there this morning, also says 30-11-0002 but my build week is Oct-06-2014

It's probably a placeholder because they haven't scheduled it yet. Maybe because it's not OKTB yet...

The ETIS site will show 30-11-0002 date until it is actually built, then it will show your actual build date. At least it did for me.

We did have a class on the Mustang already. I was busy that day and didn’t get but a picture of the outside as I walked a client by. I did however, hear today that the first build should be 9/27/14. I hope this is true. I got it from a reliable source. We’ll see. You don’t have to get your pin until right before we do the deal. Looking forward to calling customers with good news and build dates! I’ll get back with you as soon as I do. I appreciate you. Hope you have an awesome day also.
