2015 Mustang INTERIOR Pictures

So my newly formed High-pot-assist: The premier trim package (68B), only available on premiums is the brushed dash; all non 68B's get the engine turned.

The biggest issue with this theory is almost all of the other premium cars (vs the few you posted) have had the brushed dash including all of those with the ceramic and saddle seats, both ceramic and saddle are not available with 68B. 68B is available ebony and redline only.

Without pictures I back up that 100% of the engined turned AL I've seen have been with the PP and that 100% of the brushed AL has been with the premium package. I look forward to anyone proving what is true.

I see a USB port just ahead of the shifter and at the bottom of the center-stack. I wish Ford could've put in a little cubby or hole for us to put our cell phones while they are plugged in.

I hate having wires crossing over my shifter or e-brake since it seems like the only spot to plop a phone will be the armrest storage or the cupholder. You would think that in "this day and age" every carmaker would make a little spot for cell phones that was convenient.

Though I could be wrong...maybe that space in front of the shifter is big enough to hold a phone if you could put a little non-slip pad there.

The angles here don't show it, but there is indeed a fairly large spot for you to put your phone and whatever else between the shifter and that area. In fact, it's already got the non-slip pad.

I completely agree. If anyone can just show a single picture of a turned dash WITHOUT center (oil pressure / vacuum) gauges I would stand corrected.

I just went through the 1000+ pics that I have collected and not a single turned dash without the extra gauges. I did see both types of dashes with the extra gauges. So...

Non PP - Brushed
PP - Either (But what is the determinant?) :shrug:

Just a thought I had: To all the people whining about the shifter being a problem because it's so "shiny and the sun will reflect off it and blind you while driving," why would that be a problem if your hand is on the shifter for manual drivers? Just sayin'... doesn't make any logical sense.

Because your hand doesn't sit on the shifter the entire time. And if it does, you have less precise control of your steering wheel.

Maybe I am misunderstanding? So you are saying 68b "premier trim" doesn't have a different dash than the std premium package but the performance package comes with the turned al dash?

I'm sorry, I have to agree, I believe the Engine Turned Dash is part of the Performance Package. There has only been the One Picture of a 2015 Mustang that is Arguably an Eco-Boost that has the Central Gages and the Brushed Aluminum Dash Trim. I say Arguably an Eco-Boost because some are still in denial saying it it's a GT even though it clearly shows a Vac/Boost Gage albeit one that only reads to 15 psi not 30 like every other Eco-Boost we've seen. There would be Absolutely No Reason for Ford to put a "Boost" Gage in a GT. EVERY Peeformance Pack GT we've seen has only had a Vacuum Gage. However we have NEVER Seen the Engine Turned Dash without the Gages.

But what we have not seen is if the Brushed is in fact the base dash or the Premier trim dash.

and all of the pictures should be taken with a grain of salt. the dash would probably be the main thing they would want to test out in different trim packages to see which they liked best for each package.

Anytime. That's been a big gripe of mine for a while now. FINALLY we have a place to store something other than the cup holders or center console. If you need quick access, the console is of no use. If you bring drinks, the cup holders are of no use. I end up cramming stuff between the e-brake handle and the center console.

I'm Not Discounting the picture of the Brushed Aluminum Dash with the Gages because it's an Eco-Boost. Others have said it Is Not an Eco-Boost. They tend to think that it is a GT that Ford Installed a Vac/Boost Gage on. I believe it is an Early Build Eco-Boost Prototype with an Incorrect Boost Gage (15 psi instead of 30) and also believe that the Brushed Aluminum is Incorrect on that car because we haven't seen another single example of the Gages in either a GT or Eco-Boost with the Brushed Aluminum Dash, and Every One of Them had the Performance Package. For this Reason, I conclude that the Gages and Turned Aluminum Dash come together with the Performance Package.
