Sounds like a good deal for South Florida. Still more than I pay in MS but I'd expect that. Just be glad you don't live a little south in Broward Co.!

I live in socal, I pay $150 with Geico. I have 3 other cars on the policy though which helped a TON! It was $200 if I got the car by itself with no others.

P.S. I have one point on my record (damn speeding ticket):frusty:

Live in Missouri and have state farm. 40 years old and pay $55 a month for my 15 GT Coupe. Deductibles are 250/500 and get a price break for having multiple cars (2) and keeping the mileage at or under 7500 a year. Every year I'm suppose to fill a form out and mail it in to verify my mileage, if I don't the rates go up which isn't a huge deal. Would be about $10 more a month if i put more that 7500 miles.

I'm 28, paying around $110/mo USAA. Be interesting what that metromile covers and how much considering I've had my car for 5 months and just gonna hit 2k miles today

This metromile thing looks interesting, looks like it would save me around $30 a month....problem is you basically have a tracker in your car, which I'm sure keeps track of how you drive...speeding and such

I don't quite understand insurance for these cars... Most of the quotes I've gotten have been $1200-$1400 for 6 months, but Progressive was $650 and Geico $720, all for identical coverage. I'm paying $500 now for liability only, am 25 with a clean record. The only thing I can assume is that Progressive and Geico are planning on jacking my rates after the first 6 months...
