anything over 36 drive out for GT premium without other add ons seems nuts.

Yeah, that is pretty crazy. That's why the Ecoboost intrigues me. I'll get performance and handling that's better than my current 3V GT, better fuel economy, and the tuneability of a turbo.

I'd love to get a GT but it will depend on what kind of deal I can cut.
As much as I love that v8 sound, you're literally paying 10k extra for sound and prestige. And of course 100+ hp, but how much of that is useable on the street? The EB has a smooth torque curve that comes in low. I expect the EB to be priced like most of the ST vehicles and be under $26k. Plus I'm getting 8-10 extra MPGs (if you can keep your foot out of it).

Now I sound like a v6 apologists. :lol:

I love the 2015, but in reality if a GT Premium costs 40K+...I'll have to seriously start thinking about deals on 13/14s...

Does anyone remember what a fully loaded GT cost in 1993? I don't, but for the sake of argument, let's say it was $20,000 (I think it was lower). Adjusted for inflation, that would be approximately $32,300 in 2013 dollars. Yes, I realize that these are two totally different cars separated by over 20 years of technological, performance, and safety advancements. Regardless, I think anything close to $40,000 for a GT premium with no extra options is crossing the line of affordability for a large segment of the population that Ford is seemingly trying to woo.

2014 premium starts at 36000 now, add brembos and navi ur 40-41 how you think your going to get a premium for 36 out the door for a 2015?

I can buy a fully loaded 2014 gt right now for 35k otd with the incentives they have. That's going to be my only issue with this new mustang. They will insist on msrp or mark up and then 6 months later will throw out incentives out the butt.

IDK where you're seeing 41k for GT premium, but here in Houston, the 14 GT premiums are 34-35k DRIVE OUT. Dont believe me ? go to autotrader and search in Houston.

On the other hand, its possible Ford is releasing three engine line ups so everyone can "afford" a Mustang, justifying a high price of a GT .. Many manufacturers are starting to do this.

I agree. The GT version will most likely be 2k or more. I bought mine at Joe Myers Ford for 32k. So yeah you can find great deals on the 13's and 14's.

2015s will not have much rebate to start with and second no dealership will sell you a 2015 for invoice when they first released. If you are finding a 2013 on a dealership lot then its been there for at least 9 months, as 2014s been out since Feb of this year.

X plan is still over invoice. Not by much though. Fortunately I get A plan.

a plan is nice, but as u know theres not much room from x-plan to msrp anyways
