Yes, please
I asked the salesman today if it was a third party leasing company or if it was Ford Credit and he said it was Ford Credit.

I didn't ask him what the "due at signing" broke down into. After the first month and $75 document fee, there's $425 left over. I was assuming that was the FL & county tax, registration, and titling fees, but I don't know for sure. I can ask. This is the screenshot he sent me:

10,500 miles per year is more than enough for me. I plan on turning it in at lease end.
I can't say for certain since it could be rolled into the cap cost but there's a ~$645 acquisition fee somewhere to go with Ford credit on a lease.

39 months is a long time to have a lease. Why not purchase the car instead?

2.99% is a good rate from Ford Credit on a GT . If you have recently leased any other brand , you would also be eligible for a $750 conquest lease rebate .

With only 30,000+ miles on the car at the end of the lease , it will be a very desirable and possibly worth more than the residual. You can always sell it at carmax with little hassle, and put some change back in your pocket .

Wow great info! Thanks for posting! I'm going to try for the same lease in NJ.

Here in the NW, Ford doesn't offer special lease rates on GT's - only EcoBoosts and V6's - so that 2.99% rate isn't even remotely possible here in the NW. Ford Credit only shows standard lease rates on GT's, which is 2-3 times higher.

I just spoke with the salesman and it's a 2.99 percent interest rate on a 39 month lease for 10500 miles per year. I misunderstood the amount due at signing. All that's due is the first months payment the registration fees, taxes, tags: are all rolled in to the payments.

excuse my grammar I'm dictating to my cell phone.

You have all the points for a good lease . 1) decent money factor of 2.99% ( probably the lowest anyone on the forum has seen for a GT ?) 2) good residual value 3) low out of pocket expense 4) decent monthly payment 5) yearly mileage that you can live with 6) a highly desirable car that you can either turn in , purchase , or sell at the end of the lease .
7) x-plan pricing , which is a good place to start on the cap cost

Go for it ! And drive it like you stole it !

When you put it that way... lol

I'm trying not to jinx it, but I'm pretty happy. I have the order in for the car to be transported from the east coast of Florida to Fort Myers. I'm signing the papers Sunday or Monday (whenever the car is ready for me to drive home.) I actually have my uncle going with me to talk with my salesman about buying out his Maxima's lease so he can get into a new GT. He said he's never seen a lease that good for a Mustang GT (he has a 14 GT CS that will be going to the wife.)

Hopefully have some pictures in a few days.

So after driving ~90 minutes out to the dealership to finalize the paper work, doing another test drive, searching to see which dealership was closest for transporting it to me, and running numbers I get this... (approximately 5 hours wasted)

"This is my bad Dan. The numbers I quoted you weren't right. I was quoting you finance rates for the lease. You're looking not at a $430/mo payment, but $595/mo. I'm really sorry."

This was after I asked him three different times to confirm these numbers with your sales/finance manager.

TLDR- FALSE ALARM everyone. LaBelle Ford in Florida DOES NOT have an amazing leasing deal. lol

Sorry to hear that, that has to be a huge letdown. For a minute, the deal you quoted was REALLY making me regret my EcoBoost lease when I could have had a GT lease for not much more. When I went through the process, I was basically told that leasing a GT through Ford Credit was not possible or was ridiculously expensive.

Yeah. Now I'm looking for my Plan C car choice. I may go with an Ecoboost... but the performance numbers weren't very impressive when I first looked. How are you liking yours so far? I'm assuming the aftermarket will open this little motor up quite a bit. TIME TO RESEARCH!

I love it so far. It's my daily driver, and my commute is on city streets with a speed limit of 30 mph max, so I don't really have much need for the extra power that comes with the GT. Acceleration getting onto highways is great and I don't think this car will feel underpowered to most drivers (depending on what they are used to driving). Although I'm sure I'd love having the extra power and rumble of the GT, I don't think it's absolutely necessary or feel like I'm missing out.

If you end up leasing, you'll have to see how much modification the dealer will permit if you turn the car in when the lease ends. If you tune it, perhaps you can de-tune it when you turn it back in. But I don't think they'll accept it with an after-market exhaust or other mods (if they take the time to notice).

Oh man ! That is bad news . Can't believe the guy ran the numbers , sent you the paperwork with the interest rate, and then said "oops " . What did he think he was doing ?

Keep the faith, the ecoboost rates are still good . If you want to investigate tuning, my long time friend works at VMP tuning near Orlando . They specialize in Mustang modifications .
