With a lease, do you get to take the car out of state (as in moving or whatnot)? My bank would let me do it, just was wondering if leasing was the same

Thanks

Sure! You can go anywhere you want. But at the end of the lease you have to either turn the car in or buy it at the dealership you leased it from.

I haven't looked in to what Ford's requirements are at the end of the lease, but with Honda/Acura, you can drop the car at any Honda or Acura dealer in the country. When I bought my Mustang, I dropped my Acura TSX at a Honda dealer down the street from the Ford dealer since there wasn't an Acura dealer nearby.

The Honda sales manager asked what I was getting and I told him a 2015 Mustang. He said "I want one of those myself, enjoy!"

It's up to the bank and/or finance company. With Ally, Wells Fargo and Chase I could drop the car at any dealer.

We've finance through a broker (Autoflex here in Dallas), so they take care of the details for us. Works well too.
