Hello!

I bought some front LED fog/DLR replacements, tried to fit them tonight (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Konik-P13W-...r-FT86-GT-MY15-WRX-STI-FORESTER-/121355905937). From the UK, whether that makes any difference but:

1. They came out okay (had to take the connector off first, then twist the bulb).
2. The new LED fits into the adapter fine, and also works fine (nice and bright!).
3. I really struggled to get the bulb back into the slot again, just couldn't get a good enough angle with my hand - the wheel needed to be taken off really to properly get at it. In the end it was there but wasn't secure at all (wobbled when knocking the wire).
4. The passenger side one wouldn't budge for me, and somehow I ended up pulling a wire out of the adapter, so it doesn't work for me now  Going to have to try and strip the cable and see if I can get it to work again.

So currently I've detached them so have no DRLs... no big loss since I think they looked crap anyway yellow. Will see if I can rewire it another time.

It's indeed not that easy.:frusty:
As stated :first carefully remove the plug and than turn the existing bulb socket.
Managed to get it back in easily on the driver side.
Passenger side was much trickier if you're right handed. Fog bulb felt out and fixing the led took me 15minutes of patience !!

And that's the key not breaking everything apart : Patience....:headbang:

In the mean time Proledlights.nl added extra countries and if yours is not listed you can mail them. Ronny is the guy you need and whom I was dealing with.

Yeah, I struggled with the passenger side.

Does anyone know what sort of adapter/connector is in my picture above? I'm hoping stripping the cable back and re-wiring it in will fix it... If not, well I guess I'm rolling with no lights :(

So do these replace the DRL bulb or the fog light bulb?

The DLR bulb (which is at the front of the unit). There's two wires, DLR is the one going in at the bottom.

Anywhere a clear tutorial how to do it step by step?
I thought I could take them out from the front but from what I see here it is more complicated and I need to do it from behind the wheels.

Update: so we need to remove 3 small plastic screws so the plastic plate before the wheel.opens to get access to the lights. The fog light goes out easily, the other one does not seem to move in either direction.
Any extra advice?

Update2: read the advice above again and untamed talks about 4 screws for mud lap as I cannot get well to,lights, this might help a lot and then I saw u first remove plug before turning bulb. But before that I need to be able to reach it ...

Update3: they are in. Lost more time to open and close those plastic flaps than to install the LEDs.
Thx UNtamed67 for help in finding and tips on installing them.

Finally got around to sorting the issue. Had to get the connectors out and solder the thing together... Look great now!

Cheers - just a shame the DLRs aren't in the tri-bar!
