I would still love to see a way that we can install the American performance package...
unfortunately you have to replace the entire dash for this..
I already marked this mod as 'impossible' long time ago :tsk:

Yeah this is really interesting.. I already archived the performance pack gauges mod, but that thread gives me some hope :D
Now I need to read and think!

Oh, of course I have no real need of those gauges, but I really like the dash appearance with them :)

So you are going to test it? The thing I was wondering about is if that connection is in the European model behind the screen

I am almost sure that the APIM connector is identical.
For doing this mod I should find a dash trim (cheap!) and first I'll wait that the other thread continues..

I've asked my Ford dealer to look into this for me too. Curious what they tell me.

Hi!
I did the job by myself:
-At first I ordered a custom boost Gauge from Autometer; they have a custom shop that let you create the gauge with a large selection of colors, fonts, combinations.
-After that I designed ad made with a CNC plotter the holder because I wanted something cool to watch with a custom graphic and also because the roush one (that I don't like so much) it's crazy expensive for a peace of plastic...and leave the vent always opened...
-At the end I adapted the stock vent internal part and connected the gauge and...voilĂ !

I guess I'll revive this thread. ;) Has anyone, in europe, successfully added a vacuum / boost guage ?
I'm interested in adding this boost guage however, I've seen the comments and discussions about the difficulities.

Yes I have installed the US PP dash trim and for the moment the US GT oil\vacuum gauges (I got these free with the dash trim). It worked flawlessly, of course I am able to see only the vacuum value but using an EB PP gauges set you can also have the boost value.

The procedure is identical to US cars.

Thanks Stefano ! Waiting to hear from my Ford dealer to see how they can order the dash and make it work.
