Yeah, it would be perfect then. Those are some good runs man. Get some radials and get that 60 ft lower you'll do much better.
Very good times, looks to me like someone has some 1/4 mile experience.;)Went to the Drag Strip tonight....
15 Base GT 6spd with PP, off the shelf SCT tune, ford Racing cat-back
everything else stock Simmons
I am a Autoxer, but still try to get to the strip once or twice a year. Plus doing Pro Solo helps.Very good times, looks to me like someone has some 1/4 mile experience.;)
Out of curiosity what RPM's were you launching at? A 1.9 sixty on street tires means you were getting some decent traction.

Man forgot all about island still being open for the last time tommorow! Would have went too. Let me know how you do, I hope they prep the track for you again. Everytime i go the track is never prepped at all.I am going back to the same track tomorrow, now I have a Lund 93 tune.
I will be on the stock tires.
Hopefully I pick up some mph.

It is cool that they are open, and decent weather.Man forgot all about island still being open for the last time tommorow! Would have went too. Let me know how you do, I hope they prep the track for you again. Everytime i go the track is never prepped at all.
Same with me, if I were you and you think your going to have multiple passes I'd try shifting around 7000 for 1 pass into 5th gear just to see the outcome. You'll be at the peak torque when you hit 5th. Good luck manIt is cool that they are open, and decent weather.
I have a MT PP, so when I cross the finish line I am around 7,500 rpms
Do you think it's worth shifting to 5th?

I have had a similar problem myself, Partly due to the track i have gone had no prep at all which is not only unsafe but its downright not fun at all for cars with some balls. Judging by your 60 ft if it was a 2.0 60 foot you should be right there in the high 12s so theres nothing wrong with your car . I had to literally take off from the tree like i would take off from a stop sign in a neighborhood with kids around. Very slow then i would hammer it and still roast first , roast second and then grab in 3rd with stock pirellis at 25 psi. Ran a 13.48 at 110 2.4 60ft. I would wheel hop only slightly due to the Steeda subframe braces i have installed mostly just spin right to redline. I have the steeda bushings to install now and i just bought aftermarket halfshafts which will eliminate the wheel hop 100%. The only way to go with these cars is to get half shafts from ford racing or DSS and put drag radials or go with slicks. Im not playing games anymore lolI am starting to think that there is something wrong with my car. The best I have gotten was a 13.7 at 107 with a 2.4 60' which I know the 60' is terrible. How are you not having just horrendous wheel hop through all of first all of second and into third? If I go wide open at all in first or most of second it starts hopping and if I am going for the third gear shift it hops through the shift and into third gear. I don't get it.
