Yesterday they say we got around 5" of snow. Now it's 10 outside. So our mustang Gt convt is officially put away for the winter.

oh dear that life I couldn't imagine. I'll go outside and drive my mustang in shorts and flip flops today(not really we got a cold front that's come in so in the 50s today but yesterday I did lol)

Every time someone posts "I garaged her today" I just can't get over it!

Drove mine in snow yesterday with no issue. People have been driving RWD in the snow since cars were invented. Winter tires work wonders.

I'm the minority: California guy who see's nothing wrong with storing a car for the winter, assuming it's not the only fun car in the stable. I'm all about keeping the miles spread out over multiple vehicles. I enjoy driving my truck even if it's nothing like a gt, it's fun to smash around with no care in the world. Also wouldn't mind drifting around in the snow all winter in a subaru/awd Audi/etc.

After living among the Silicon Valley rat race for 34 years, I'm about 3 years away from checking out and moving to western Montana. The cold keeps the riff raff out.

There is plenty of fun to be had in winter:

Probably because of dust. I know mine gets dusty sitting in the garage.

This and the fact that this is the wife's toy and her baby. She doesn't want it touched while dusty, which causes scratches. She also doesn't want the kids to hit it.

I put winter tires on mine. Drove in 5 inches of snow and had a blast. Couldn't believe how well it did in the snow. I raced a two wheel drive F150 and destroyed it! X-ICE XI3

I drove my gt on the all-seasons yesterday in the snowstorm and it was scary! no traction at all! Snow tires and wheels coming tomorrow and I can't wait to get them on, I'm sure it will make a huge difference.

Drove mine Saturday, up to Wisconsin. They had 18 inches of snow. No problem at all. This is the best snow handling Mustang I have had so far. I am on my 6th Mustang. Had it in Snow mode for a while then put it back into normal. It was the SUV's & pickups that were in the ditch's. They can get going faster in snow, but it takes them just as long to stop!

I don't drive my mustang in bad weather either but where I live I am fortunate. We don't have extreme winters so there are some days every month of the year I can get the stang out and ride. I feel sorry for you guys that have to garage them. I honestly don't think I could stand it. This car is just too much fun to drive for me to let it sit long.
