Just picked up at the Orlando airport from Budget ... car had only 42 miles on it, so I've got to be it's 1st renter !!

She ain't no rental V6 either ... Premium EB A/T !!

Had reserved a V6 Mustang in late August and was "hoping" they'd have the 2015's in by November 7th.

The car they planned on giving me was a 2014 Silver V6, but next to it was this 2015 so I went back to the counter and asked it we could have the '15 instead. It was not reserved and ended up costing us an additional $20 / day or $164.01 for the week with all the taxes & fees.

Do I get a prize for being the 1st 2015 rental ??

One thing I've got to say is seats are WAAAAAAAY more comfortable than my Premium 2011 !!

I'll write a full review after I get a little more seat time.

Okay now that's cool. Good price, too. Always rent on Friday. Looking forward to your thoughts.

Shit I'd go rent one for the weekend if they have Premium models, let us know if it has any limitations on drive modes/traction control.

I remember when you could rent a Hertz Shelby and they put a small clip on the traction control button so you couldn't turn it off. Of course you could take it off yourself if you popped up the button but just had to remember to put it back on...

This is very good news! The fiancee and I are planning on going to Arizona for half a week in February, and I was really hoping there would be some kind of '15 Mustang to rent just to get my fix before I take delivery. Looking more promising already!

Awesome! This is what my test drive will be -- a week rental!

Those stock 18s are soooo dull. Other than that great looking "base" car (I realize the V6 is technically the base)....Smart move paying a little extra to try it out. Leave it to the rental agency to grant your request for a Mustang and not even mention the 2015 as they hand you the keys to the S197...

$164.01 was the UP-CHARGE ... had already paid $416.13 when I made the reservation back in August, so the total for 7 days / unlimited miles is $580.14.

Ok. Never mind. Still, always rent on Friday and Google how to get best rental deal. I'll find the link later and post. Good info.

It's not a "base" it is actually a Premium EB. These wheels are the base Premium EB/GT wheels ... I'd definitely pay the $155/139 extra for the "641" 5-spoke Foundry Wheels.

Did not see another 2015 besides this one in the Budget area, but did see at least one in Hertz or Avis's area as we were walking through the parking garage to the Budget counter.

Back home, I had yet to see a 2015 in person or on the road. And have not noticed any others driving around here in Orlando either.

From the airport, I was so immersed in just driving the car and taking it all in that I probably would not have noticed anyway. When we went out twice later from the resort (grocery run & dinner) it was dark plus I was still immersed in it.

Really wish it was the BASE model, as I wanted to see if I could live with the base sound system (I've had Mach 460 in all 3 of my SN-95's and the Shaker in my 2011). Even brought a few CD's to test the base system !!

I've never driven a car with MyFord Touch ... so far I've figured out how to play a CD but need to read the manual in order to figure out how to adjust the sound quality.

It's 4:30 in the morning here ... more later when it gets light out !!

If you got total replacement policy, drive it like you stole it. Have fun your faster than 95% of mustangs built before 2005 and many after.

More pics

Still in "Factory Mode", but seems to drive normal. Even allowed me to change to "Sport Mode".

Wonder if they do this on purpose with rentals ... maybe at least for the 1st few hundred / thousand miles ??

It will clear out of factory mode after the first hundred miles or so since it seems the dealer forgot to do it.
