Funny! I am In orlando as well, got in yesterday, and National had a '15 available. $20 extra per day. Had too much damn luggage to use it though. Got to sit in it and check it out. I've seen a couple others around town today. Pretty sweet!

Those pics make like me like the Ruby Red even more! I want either that, DI blue or the Magnetic.

Does the rental let you play with track apps?

Oh, I looked again... Factory mode.

I was sitting at an intersection tonight in Orlando and instantly spotted a ruby red stang crossing in front of me. Looked so damn cool at night! Pulled into the hotel parking garage and bam, another. So sweet to see them out an about.

Just saw my first road going '15 this Saturday while driving to PA, ironically it also was Ruby Red. Just feels wrong and unfortunate that it was on a highway through Newark...

Got the window sticker for this car and also entered the VIN in cotus. What I've found is typically after a car is sold it will no longer pop up on cotus, so I was surprised to see it actually come up. I suppose this is due to the fact that being a rental, it is a Ford program car so maybe technically Ford is still the title holder, not the rental agency.

Accoring to cotus, this car was delivered on 11/07 ... the exact day I rented it ... so YES, I am definitely the 1st renter of this particular car :headbang::headbang:

VEHICLE: 2015 MUSTANG ECOBOOST PREMIUM FASTBACK
ORDERED ON: 07/01/2014
ORDER NUMBER: 0009
VIN: 1FA6P8TH2F5312442
DELIVERED ON: 11/07/2014
DEALER DETAILS:

• IN ORDER PROCESSING COMPLETED ON : 09.22.14
• IN PRODUCTION 09.25.14
• AWAITING SHIPMENT 10.27.14
• IN TRANSIT 11.07.14
• DELIVERED 11.07.14

There is still less than 100 miles on the car, but we're going to go to Daytona Beach today so I'll report back with more of a "review" when we get back.

Just tried it twice and no luck. Tried it a 3rd time with it running and that did not do it either.

Has 88 miles on it now and will be running to Daytona Beach today so hopefully it will clear if the "around 100 miles or so on it's own" holds true.

Well, we just got back from Daytona Beach ... got the ODO to around 230 miles and the Factory Mode still pops up. Tried the brake pedal / hazard trick again and still no luck.

When we 1st arrived, the beach was closed to traffic due to high-tide. So we just walked up & down the beach for a 1/2 hr or so. Then drove up & down A1A looking for a tiki-bar / grill where we could eat some lunch. Found a decent Tiki-bar in the Americano Inn with free parking so we stopped. Had a great burger and some loaded home-made potato chips then went back out on the beach and saw it was now open to traffic !!

Looks like the rental store dipsticks put the rear plate in the wrong holes. Nothing like drilling out 2 unnecessary holes and mounting the rear plate in the wrong spot below where it should be. Saw the same thing earlier on a customer delivered one here on the site. What they thought the 2 raised holes were for is beyond me. Same type of people that want a $15 minimum wage for being a dumb@$$.

Whatever the case enjoy your time. :)

Follow up ...

Car had 286 miles on it when we returned in on the 11/14 so we put around 245 miles on it.

I had topped off the gas tank when we got to our resort on the 7th then re-filled it on the way to the airport on the 14th ... 209.3 miles / 8.691 gal = 24.08 MPG. Was expecting it to do better than this, but it WAS still in DEALER MODE and other than the trip to Daytona & back, all the miles were tooling around Orlando.

My wife & I absolutely loved this car and it was well worth the $164.01 adder over the 2014 V6 we had originally reserved in August ($580.14 total for the week), especially when I only saw TWO other 2015's the whole time we were there.

I kind of wish it were a base model V6 as I'm still curious as to if I could live with a base model V6 or EB when I decide to replace my 2011 Premium V6 MCA in either Spring 2015 or 2016.
