I have noticed the same thing every once in a while. I will be driving at 40 mph in 4th gear(3.31 manual) around 2000 rpm and there is a very slight surge while I’m driving. I really have to try and feel for it, but it’s there. Everything else is great. I will be going with a Lund tune next...
I would send those plugs back to Roush. The phase two kit is supposed to come with NGK 6510’s now. Have them send you new one. My phase 2 came with the NGK. I heard they were having problems with the ford ones under high boost.
I have the Steeda IRS alignment bushings in and it was a pain to put on the braces. Passenger side holes were a little smaller on mine. I had to pry it a little. Driver side went right in. But they are great. What a difference with them on.
Just install everything but don’t plug in the bap. Plug it in at the dealer. It will take 5 minutes. And just don’t go into boost and you will be fine. It has the same injectors. The BAP is obviously for the extra fuel needed under boost.
My Roush stage 2 is more than enough for my daily driver. I love it! It is conservative but there is not much out there that is faster on the streets. If you go to the strip and race I would recommend a different tune. But it’s hard enough to keep any traction with summer tires on the road in...
You will also need fuel injectors or Lund won’t tune it with an 82mm pulley. They will let you know also that your car might get damaged if you use there tune and a 85mm pulley because it will go lean up top.
Can you post up a pic. Looking to pull the trigger on those soon. I’m on Steeda Progressives and pro action non adjustables. But I just added a supercharger and it has lowered the front end a little to much. I’m also not interested in the ride height spacers because they don’t help with the over...
I just put 93 octane in from BP. When I first noticed the knock was the tank of gas before. I ran it down to about 1 gal then fill up with the BP. I never use anything but 93. And I never really paid attention to the knock because I figured it was a real conservative tune. I data logged with...
Thank you. Advance trac was off. My torco will be in the mail tomorrow. So I will be able to log again tomorrow. I had just filled up with new gas as well. Do I just copy the link and paste to post up the log? I can’t imagine a Roush tune would cause any real knock.
I would like to post my data logs up so you guys could take a look and let me know what you think. Not sure how to do it using datazap. I’m getting up to 3.5 positive knock on wot pulls in third and fourth gear with my Roush phase 2 on Roush tune. Not sure if it’s false or not. I did the pulls...
That’s the only part of the install I’m worried about. I don’t mind gapping the spark plugs or changing the injectors. I’m worried about breaking that plastic IAT sensor they have in there when I try to take it out. It looks like there is red loctite on it.
I keep hearing that there is a huge difference. I had a Lund flex tune before I put the blower on and the drivability difference was huge. A little more power too. I can’t imagine putting a Lund tune on this phase 2! I have a hard time keeping traction as it is! But I will next year after I work...
