She did great in the snow the last couple days. Snow tires on this thing makes it a total champ. Blizzak WS80 here.

Drove mine in snow yesterday with no issue. People have been driving RWD in the snow since cars were invented. Winter tires work wonders.
Same here. Everytime someone finds out I daily mine they act like i have a deathwish. Manual RWD do just fine with the right set of tires.

Agreed! Although, I admit, I switched my summer tires to Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06s. The 06s are updated from what I had on my Miata and the Tire Rack says they provide more handling capability in curves. I live in Colorado, just above 7000' and I've driven, without any issues, in 4-6". I suspect more snow would also be fine as long as I slow down.

Note: the Continentals are GREAT in rain and moderate snow but I lost about 10 mph around hard curves compared to the summer tires on my '07 Miata; the Continentals were the previous version. I just had the 06s' put on my '15 Mustang a day before we got hit with snow so will have to try them out on a 360 when the roads are clear and the tires have more miles on them; I suspect I'll do better than 10mph loss but not much.

I just bought a winter beater and its 60 degrees here...So basically now that I have a second 4x4 nobody in Missouri has to worry about snow this year.

Psht, snow is going to stop you? I plan on driving mine in upstate NY. We haven't had snow yet.
I prefer not to drive my sports cars in SALT. It's not the snow. In IL, they throw so much salt on the ground it's ridiculous. That shit destroys everything, gets kicked up into the engine bay, suspension, brakes...etc.

Mine gets parked because of salt. Not snow. :D Although, I don't take my car out in the rain either. If I get caught in rain that is one thing but I have Explorer to drive when the weather is crap.

Agreed salt is nasty. This is going to be my first winter with the Mustang. I have absolutely all the intentions of daily driving it. I wash it everyday on the way home, and clean it in my garage as well. This has worked for my past two cars and keeping them free of rust. I also don't keep my cars long term, so it's less of a concern for me overall.

I had no issues in Colorado with driving my Miata in snow (too deep and, well, the Miata is a tiny car and very low to the ground) as long as I had the right tires. It snowed, again, here overnight (still snowing). Colorado doesn't use salt but, instead, uses sand.

I don't mind driving in snow with a RWD vehicle. Been doing it for about 50 years (yeah, I'm an old fart...).
