Back story....
Bought a brand new GT the end of April when I moved to CA. I have put 6000 miles on it since then.
Base Stick Shift w/Active Exhaust
I have installed-
Strut tower brace
Steeda Clutch Spring
Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs
MM Camber Plates
H pipe
PMAS Intake (tune required)
Got a base 91 Tune to start logging. (From a well respected Coyote Tuner)
At this point i had put 4000 miles on it.
And this is when the issues started....
Active exhaust started throwing a warning and car would go limp. Loss of throttle response.
No check engine light. Just the stupid Wrench
Advancedtrac starting throwing warning and wrench pops up.
If I turn car off for a few minutes then they go away and car is fine.
I have the SCT so I scan for codes....
P0100- Mass or Volume Air Flow Sensor A Circuit
P1888- Differential Oil Temp Sensor Circuit Failure
P188A- Differential Oil Temp Too High/Low
So I take off intake and put back stock intake and STOCK TUNE.
Drove it for a week. Put 500 miles on it. Ripped it.
NO ISSUES. NO CODES.
After the week.... I put intake back on. Triple checked everything.
Put intake back on
Reset KAM
Crank Relearn
Right after that.... without even driving it... I scanned for codes to see...
P1888 Popped up!
And now on wed... 3 days later, driving to work... Wrench pops up.
I scan for codes and all 3 codes are back.
Tuner says IT IS NOT A TUNE ISSUE. Very blatantly.
But wtf is the issue if I had no problems with stock tune?
PMAS intake would not affect differential??
And how did the differential codes pop up if I didnt even drive it before I scanned after reinstalling custom tune?
Im thinking maybe an ECU connectivity issue with the custom tune?
Any ideas?
