MY19 GT AUTO ISSUES

Hi all. I have a my19 GT 10speed. Ever since I got it ive had transmission issues. Its been remapped twice and same thing . 5gear has a massive flat spot and after the transmission oil temp gets to half way, it gears down from 5 to 3rd with a thud. Anyone else have similar issues ?

I do remember hitting some lower RPM limiter in 5th on the stock tune...

I paddle shift, 95% of the time personally. But tunes are always worth it on every car ive had. Best value mod of all time imo.

My 2018 GT does exactly that. I have not taken it in yet to the dealer for a check-up.

mine did the same thing, it was 2 quarts low on transmission fluid from the factory or so my dealer says

5th is a very harsh gear in my car also. I don’t have any downshift noise but 5th shifts hard in sport plus even at 25% throttle. I can manually shift the car and it seems normal. I figure it is something the car has learned from the way I drive.

I generally pull hard to the top of third let it shift into 4 and let out or part throttle.

I would see if I could replicate it with the paddle shifter to see if it is a software or hardware problem.

The low fluid levels have been found to be an issue in the early 2018 builds - have not heard of any 2019’s found with low fluid (yet).

The most common reported issue with the S550 10R80 has been bad valve bodies - which affects shifting function and performance of the transmission.

I have 10k miles and 4-5 shift is getting wonky. I’ll do a reset and see how it goes.
