I took my mustang in because the green ambient lights on the floor and cup holder wouldn't work. I was told I had a short somewhere in the car. They replaced the modules and still wasn't able to fix the issue. They came up with the idea to replace my digital instrument panel hoping that would solve the issue. I got a call from Ford service now saying they are unable to get the new digital instrument panel programmed. I recall reading about this issue on the forum but I'm unable to locate the thread.

Did they order the cluster. Seems weird so many dealers struggle with cluster replacements there is a specific process in place.

Very strange. From what I found out when I was installing my 350 cluster Ford dealers order the clusters from some place in PA where they have the blanks. They program the mileage there as no dealer can ever do it. As for the as built data it should all be the same for those I expect. Someone else had an issue with the digital cluster I think and they wanted to put it in with the incorrect mileage.......
