So I’m thinking about getting the SVE R357 wheels and having 275/40r19 in the dws 06 squared for an all season setup and when I need all the traction/ when it’s warm and dry, swap to a set of either 305/45/17 or 305 35/19 drag radials in the rear only, probably the Nitto 555r2. Is there a big difference in traction between those 2 sizes when already starting from a roll or would there only be a small difference. Car is not boosted now but will be eventually

I was hoping 19s would be fine. A majority of the time it would be on 93 only making around 650 but every now and then when I find e85 it would be making around 750-800 is what I’m looking for

I run the 17s. I love them. Rides nice. Looks nice. It's a popular choice among the community.

The 17s will fit the rear with the brembo brakes right.

I see most go with only a 10 or 10.5 wide rim with the 17s on a 305. Does all the extra sidewall allow for that. As with the 19s you need an 11in wide rim for the 305.

Yes. More flex in the sidewall. 10” or 10.5” on 17 with 305 drag style tire is ideal. While the 19 won’t have as much “give” and 305 wide ideal for 11” for most tire manufacturers. My setup for street is 305/35 Continental sport 02 rear on an 11 and front 295/35 on a 10.5. Setup for strip 18X5 front 28x6 sportsman sr and 17x10 MT Street R 305/45 rear.
