Awesome. I’ll document the rest Incase anyone else needs a boost of confidence when they do theirs.I had a green screen rather than red, but your pics that follow match mine.
Good question. The answer is who knows. Anytime you download unauthorized software you run the risk of screwing something up down the line. Proceed at your own risk.If we install this "pre-release" update, we are still going to be able to install the released update whenever Ford releases it, right?
Glad to hear this worked for you. Even if for some reason you cannot update any further you are still ahead of the curve. Thanks to OP for linking this. Just upgraded my '17 GT and the wife's '16 Flex, worked like a charm!
Yes, and in the case of my wife's Flex, the maps are a huge upgrade. Her 2016 shipped with 2014 maps, and there have been a LOT of road changes in our area in the past 10 years that were not represented in '14 maps. She loves the style of the new interface too, so a definite win-winGlad to hear this worked for you. Even if for some reason you cannot update any further you are still ahead of the curve.
I would think the new files would overwrite the old ones.. Maybe! If we install this "pre-release" update, we are still going to be able to install the released update whenever Ford releases it, right?

Depends on how you want to do it. The unofficial Cyanlab’s is free. If you want to do it officially you will need to pay for a new APIM, update to 3.3 and then wait until Ford releases 3.4.17 seems to max out at 3.0 unless you want to pay.
