Has anyone used this tune long-term on a basic bolt-on car? Any issues?

Drives great, you'll have no issues. I run one tank of 93 every 5-6 tanks to keep the fuel system clean from the yellow e86 gunk

Lund or Palm Beach Dyno tunes are a better version of what is provided in them from ford. You won't have any issues with longevity with them. If you haven't ordered one yet, let me know and I can get a great deal on a tune for you. Lethalperformance.com

I currently have Lund's 93 tune on my 2016 A6... there is plenty of E85 fuel stations around my house so it's been on my mind for a while.

You should stick with the 93 tune. Unless you have headers and better manifold with larger injectors the e85 gains will be minimal and not worth switching to e85 just because you want to try it.

I ran a Lund FF tune on my catback-only setup for a while. Worked just great on both 91 and E85.

My opinion is try the E85 tune. Much better than flex fuel tune. The only thing the FF tune gives you is to eliminate timing getting pulled up top, assuming you use ethanol. This is a good thing but it doesn't come in hard like the E85 tune does. Try it and you'll see. The FF will feel like a good tank of 93 only not as crisp feeling as the 93 tune is.

Thanks for the input. I was also tossing around this idea, and considering picking up a 18 manifold and 47 lb injectors.

That's what I did. Definitely worth it for the high rpm gains. And with E85 tune you will get the low end response too.

On my car I prefer the flex tune over my 85r tune. Car doesn't feel any faster with the e85r tune and my flex tune driveability is spot on, e85r not so much has some rev hang issues, but they say the logs check out

Pre 2018 the injector upgrades are required for e85.

Definitely worth it. Going corn is one of the best bang for your bucks.
