I currently have Lund's 93 tune on my 2016 A6... there is plenty of E85 fuel stations around my house so it's been on my mind for a while.Lund or Palm Beach Dyno tunes are a better version of what is provided in them from ford. You won't have any issues with longevity with them. If you haven't ordered one yet, let me know and I can get a great deal on a tune for you. Lethalperformance.com
My opinion is try the E85 tune. Much better than flex fuel tune. The only thing the FF tune gives you is to eliminate timing getting pulled up top, assuming you use ethanol. This is a good thing but it doesn't come in hard like the E85 tune does. Try it and you'll see. The FF will feel like a good tank of 93 only not as crisp feeling as the 93 tune is.I currently have Lund's 93 tune on my 2016 A6... there is plenty of E85 fuel stations around my house so it's been on my mind for a while.
Thanks for the input. I was also tossing around this idea, and considering picking up a 18 manifold and 47 lb injectors. My opinion is try the E85 tune. Much better than flex fuel tune. That's what I did. Definitely worth it for the high rpm gains. And with E85 tune you will get the low end response too. Thanks for the input. I was also tossing around this idea, and considering picking up a 18 manifold and 47 lb injectors.
