All,

PP2 and/or 11" wide square set up for the track (road course).
I currently run my PP2 with 305/30/19 RE 71R which are directional and with PP2 wheels in theory I can not rotate my tires for wear.
I can rotate L to R ignoring the directional tread.
And physically can't rotate from to back because of the PP2 wheel offsets.

Options would be to:
Change tries to non-directional and can rotate L to R or ignore the directionality of RE71R.
or Change wheels to 19x11 48 or 50 offset and run 1" spacers in the front and can rotate F to R and L to R
I don't like the idea of running spacers on the track

What are you track guys running 305/30/19 do?

Most do a rotatable setup. I have 18s with 305's and I use Apex EC7's in a rotatable setup. Just makes sense. If you aren't limited by a class, do a rotatable with spacer and extended studs on the front.

Leaning that way and when I go to my OEM PP2 wheels for the street remove the spacers and hope my deep lug socket is deep enough !!!

If they are just being rotated for the track then on a dry day you can rotate them however you like. The tread

Im in the process of setting up a 305 rotatable setup. Use open lug nuts. I too will have set of street tires and Im afraid the long studs with open lugs and no spacer will look super dumb. We shall see.

Ive ordered my OPMustang spacer and 1 inch longer ARP Studs, suspension goodies and EC 7 Wheels get ordered this weekend. I was going to order the ford performance open ended lugs. I havnt thought much about it but Im assuming they are the same size and thread.

Was just going to grab these.

Is there a better option out there.

I bought full front hubs when I switched and there were nuts on them already.

Easiest thing is to just have the tires dismounted and rotated on the wheels L/R & F/B once about half-way through their life.

Find a local place thats cheap. You can do a lot of $100 tire dismount rotations before you add up to the cost of a new set of wheels.

If its dry, you can definitely run the RE71Rs backwards (L/R rotate) in a pinch, but Im not sure how good that actually is for longevity.

Edit: I run square 11” Apex SM-10 wheels now and I still dismount and rotate tires mid-life on the wheels. The square setup lets me rotate F/R regularly, which helps normalize front axle camber wear (I still have <3 degrees front camber so the outside shoulders wear a little faster), but it doesn’t entirely eliminate it.

My guy changes about $125-$135 to remount and balance... your right I can do that more than 10 times for the cost of wheels.

As long as it's dry I've seen several people run re71rs backwards. The tread pattern is for rain evacuation not grip. I've never run those tires so I can't speak from experiance.

For those running a 11 in wide tire up front, was anything more than camber plates needed?
Just curious because apex recommends -3 camber for their EC7s bust most camber plates max out around 2.8ish.

I was planning on using a 25mm spacer, steeda Camber plates, and a camber bolt if needed. Hopefully the bolt isn't needed and I can get to -3 ish with FP lowering track springs and steeda plates.

Steeda plates max out around 3 to 3.2.
Most other plates like Maximum Motorsports max out at -2.5 only.
First hand experience.

Any rub issues running 305s up front? I guess it depends on your offset, spacers, and camber, but what works for you all?
