Hi everyone, I checked the large 10R80 issues and solutions thread and didn't see anything exactly like I have experienced a few times now.

On two separate occasions now in the last two weeks, while idling in a drive thru, the car has exhibited an add behavior. With the selector in D and in Sport+ drive mode both times, I saw the gear light illuminate (1) as if I had hit the paddle shifter which will display the gear in the standard gauge cluster momentarily. But, it did not go away and when leaving, it did not shift I to 2nd automatically. I checked and confirmed selector was in D. I paddle shifted up to second, then had to paddle shift to third, forth, and fifth. From there, the gear light went out and the car resumes upshifting on its own eventually to 10th. Stopping and taking off again on the same trip did not reproduce the issue.

Several days later, the same thing happened, again at a drive thru. Nothing changed from drive there to when I was idling waiting in line. Looked down and saw the gear number illuminated. Had to upshift with paddles and again, car started shifting on its own once I had upshifted into 5th.

Car is a 2019 GT Premium with 10R80, stock tune, ~5,700 miles. My first thought was low trans fluid but it almost sounds tune related with the gear number illuminating in the gauge cluster as if in S using paddle shifters to manually upshift/downshift.

Has anyone experienced this combination of behavior?
