Not sure about a 105mm but I've been running the 120mm and e85 for quite some time now. Many many highway hits. Holding up just fine. No issues. I don't abuse my car but I definitely don't drive it like grandma.

I have a Whipple Stage 2 w/custom tune on my F150 (My Bullitt is NA) and the 10R80 has held up nicely. Took it to SickWeek and raced it 5 days and she never missies a beat. Pretty much my daily as my Mustang is more of my fun car. Plenty of aftermarket support if you do abuse it, so I wouldn't be too concerned. Just service the trans every 25K miles for some added protection and give 'em the beans!
