:doh:So......I was under my car yesterday and I noticed the tell tell sign of a crack. Graphite colored gunk, if you will, attracted my attention for further inspection. Sure enough there is a crack. I circled the .PDF file area in red in the top half of the image. Bottom half has a red line that represents the crack location. Drivers side engine block just aft of the oil pan and fwd of the bell housing. From my experience there is no real permanent fix to this especially under the vibrations put out by the voodoo. I have notified the dealer and will be going in to have it documented and depending on what they say following up with a lemon claim. 1st, exhaust cam phaser failure/replaced phaser. no fix. Then replaced engine which took two months to receive and now this.......:frusty::eyebulge::frusty:

Sh88t man, sorry to hear... how the hell that happened. Must have been a problem with the replacement engine ?

If it weren't for the proximity to the main crossbolt and oil pan bolt, I'd not bother to worry about it. That said, its more close than I'd be comfortable with to those fasteners (and stress points).
