That's about right. They keep asking, I didn't respond. I just wanted to be kept up to date.

I have the FP tie down brackets and I use over the axle straps without the axle part. On the Cobra, I use the axle part to go around the lower a arm in the front and rear end in the rear.

Finally figured out how to upload a pic.

Decided to make mini me for the 350 with a Raptor towing it on a trailer. I also have a 98 Cobra that can go on the trailer. Unfortunately, I couldn't get an F-150 like my truck, so I opted for the Raptor. Might as well play while she's up for winter.

I'm in NE Ohio. I have a pic with 3 other 350s from around here and a buddy of mine lives in SE Ohio

I have 5 acres, a 32x60 garage and during the winter, the trailer gets stored in the garage. In the summer, it gets parked beside the garage on gravel.

I have a 2013 F-150 crew cab 5.5' bed with the 5.0 and 3.55 rear axle and tow my other car on my steel deck 18' open trailer and it does just fine. It depends on how much you're planning to tow the car if it is worth it to buy a bigger truck. I have about 10k miles with a trailer on this truck...

You give me hope that I will get all of the things working on my Tech Pack eventually. Then I will fully love the car instead of being frustrated about the lack of coolers, until I start it anyway...:cheers:

Doc, what I would do is use loctite on the bolt that hols the hex adapter in 50_Deep original post. That way you should be able to take the shaft that the tow hook bolts to out without the hex adapter coming loose. There is no need for the license plate bracket if that is what you're going for.
