Anyone make 1000+WHP with a 10R80 and have traction issues on the street with their whipple from 3rd gear 50-60 MPH trying to make this thing work I know I can make it happen I have 315/50/17 ET Street Rs with Viking shocks on the rear set at the softest setting

currently I have to start from 4th in S and then after I floor it when I click it to D mid rip it downshifts down to 3rd but I can’t start in 3rd first

let me know your guys input who has the same issue and figured it out

Hold 3rd down to like 25 mph and roll into it as quick as you can, then click it in D once you are at WOT?

Who built your motor? What did you have to do to reach 1000 wheel

I have the same tires, same shocks, and the same traction issues but even on my lower setting (850-900hp). It would be spin city if I tried on my 1k setting. I usually make the hit on 8-10lbs and bump it up so I don’t have traction issues. For your Vikings try 5c9r.

Stock Gen 3 motors are capable of reaching 1000whp.

Gen 1 2 or 3 can hit 1000rwhp stock with enough pulley/boost, it's just a question on how long it will be before It blows.

You’re at 1000whp starting in 3rd at 60 and over 5000rpm. Good luck, not much will hold that. You might have to tame it down in 3rd then bump up in 4th once it’s going.

They are likely ramping boost or on a better surface. On the street, even on concrete, you will not be able to hook from 50-60 at 1000whp (unless you feel like putting 300lbs of sand in the trunk lol)

I've found that the most power I can leave on from a 60 is usually around 800whp. By 80-90 mph I usually have all boost, sometimes over 1000whp, ramped in no issues. This is all on concrete of course. For asphalt, the hit will have to be a little less aggressive.
