3rd gear power

I feel like I am not making my power in 3rd gear?? 1,2,4,5 is FAST, but as soon as I shift from 2-3, it feels like theres a drop in power..

Even when I dynoed, for some reason in 3rd gear I only made like ~450 whp (if i remember correctly).. 670WHP in 5th

Shift back from 3-4, and it starts to pull strong again.. What could be the issue? Is my 3rd gear starting to go? Is it not fully engaging?

i thought most people 3rd gear was strongest. is it possible clutch slip? even though seems odd to only slip in 1 gear

something doesnt add up cause 3rd gear with my Centri Is probably my favorite gear with the Performance Pack 3.73s it pulls like crazy

Do you have logs of your 3rd gear pulls? I suppose its possible something is causing the knock sensors to go off to pull enough timing to make a big enough difference in power

Dunno whats wrong.. Maybe I'll do a log tonight and see if theres any knock. I don't think there is though.

Clutch doesn't look like its slipping also... Honestly not sure at this point lol.

Is it possible its not engaging fully? Bent fork?

When I was having knock issues it would sometimes only happen after a specific gear to gear WOT shift. I run my damn SCTX4 showing knock and lambda all the time as a result.

The gears are either engaged or they're not.

I bet he's running crappy street tires. I have a 700rwhp whipple gen 3 and I can dead hook in second with nt05r's

Going to test that out soon. But with my Nt05r 1-2-3 gears are gone lol. I still need to pulley down to 3.25 and Idk how to find traction :shrug:

I do have Nt05r and even have my psi at 25 and did some freeway pulls with friends 3rd gear is gone lol.

Im on E85 tho maybe thats our diff :shrug: guessing 800rwhp w Gen 3 on 3.5" pulley
