I'm looking at some new rims with these specs:

20X10.5" with an offset of 40, hub bore 73.1

Will I have any fitment issues on the front using this size?? Thanks.

Wrong bore for sure. You want hub centric, not studs centric
I believe the correct bore is 70.5

You'll need some sort of spacer as those would rub on the strut. And you'll also need some sort of hub ring to makeup the difference in hub bore.

Not that crazy stuff, but I honestly would not want to do all that just to put them on unless you're getting these for free. There's plenty of wheels available made just for S550s that will fit without any work.

Awesome, thanks for the information. I will look at something else then. The rims aren't worth the extra work IMO.

Get centering rings (aluminum, not plastic!) from Ebay for about $10 for 4.
10.5et40 you'll need a spacer, 12-15mm worth. Which means you want CJ Pony's slip-on spacers WHSP28 but you're going to need extended studs. You need a MINIMUM of 10 turns of engagement and I think you'll find you're short by 4+.

OK, I am low eyeing some rims that are 20" diameter by 10" wide with a 35mm offset. They have 285/35/20 tires on them now. My car is a GT without any performance pack stuff. The stock wheel size is 19" diameter by 8.5" wide with a 42.5mm offset with 255/40/19 tires. Will these new wheels and tires fit with no rubbing issues as the offset calculator on 1010Tires tells me I will have 12mm less clearance from the inside of the tire to the shock tower. Is that correct? Thanks.

Yes those will fit just fine.

Sorry guys, one more question. Will a 10.5" rim with a 45mm offset fit the rear fine with no spacers required?? Thanks again.

Should not be a problem.

What about a 10" wide rim with a 45mm offset? Was thinking of a square setup with this size. Thanks again.

So up front if want a 35-40mm offset to be ok with no rubbing and no spacers?
Correct. My apologies for my previous post, I thought you were asking about rear fitment. I was incorrect and 10.5 +45mm will likely rub up front.
