It doesn't show any build date yet but I'm going to call my dealer tomorrow to find out if he has my build date
As SAl JC mentioned, the build date won't show up on COTUS yet, but the dealers already have access to the tentative build dates for today's scheduling. I'm slated for the 11/10 build week.

That last part... when I go to the Ford inventory site, and type in a zip code, it only lets me search on a dealership-by-dealership basis. I can't search by geographic location. And I'd rather not search through thousands of dealers individually.

The price thing I've got, it's just a matter of... there's got to be a way to search more than one dealer's inventory at a time, no?
What about the extended search? Mine came up with a bunch of them at various dealers but only the car does until you click on it

I'm a tad dence

Papaya, you don't get a VIN unless parts are projected to be available on your scheduled build date for your specific configuration. Unless a parts vendor misses a delivery date, the parts will be there.
I received a VIN Today, but no build date. Mike, are you saying that since I was issued a VIN, parts are currently projected to be available? When will the estimated build date show on COTUS?

Thanks
Steve

confused how to read the constraint list

just came in

Ok, I'm confused on how to read the constraint list... Is it saying 100% of the P8C, 68B, and 99F have been used or are available? In previous post of the constraint list, the items on constraint were in Red. My order contains the P8C, 68B and 99F and yet I received a VIN today? So I'm confused.

It doesn't affect you. And year it means 100% used not available. But doesn't affect yours since you got your VIN already.

So if we got a VIN today, what is the projected build weeks currently, I'm thinking a build week on 11/17, which is good for me seeing it's the week of my Birthday.

I'm pretty sure that my dealership received my car after they closed last night. Looking at the Extended Inventory for my area, I see that the "Dealer Ordered" designation for my car has gone away, even though COTUS doesn't show it as delivered. I'm guessing that someone at the dealership has to sign off on it having been delivered before that changes in COTUS. I see another dealership fairly close by that received one today and probably signed for theirs already.

Only way to know now is by calling your dealer and asking then 7 days before yor build date it will go into production

According to the latest scheduling post RisingForce made earlier, today's VINs should build the weeks of 11/3 or 11/10. My dealer already verified 11/10 for mine and your dealer should also have access to that information. Note that the date is an early projection and could move up or back as you get closer to that date.

The system isn't as accurate as FedEx or UPS. it will take days before it shows delivered on their website. When they drop the vehicle off overnight that is the same as if someone signed for it. No dealership staff needs to sign anything afterwards.

Since it says no availability on 50th Anniversary Appearance Packages, does that mean that if I place a second order with a different dealer, it simply won't get processed ever?

I'm thinking of placing a new order with a bigger dealership -- I normally hate going to bigger stores for anything, always prefer mom-and-pop shops, whether it's for cars or bed linens. But if my dealership is just never going to get an allocation for my order, I'd think I'd be better off re-submitting it with a bigger dealership.
