Hey MikeAZ if I understand you right if we were lucky enough to get a vin today but no build date it will be either 11/3 or 11/10 then? Thank you for the info.

That is what the current scheduing chart RisingForce published earlier today claims.

this week sched is for weeks 42/43. over a month ahead of xmas break
and i think you need to read more about how the commodities restraint works :headbonk:

1.) I am in the Edmonton, Alberta Canada area
2.) P8T
3.) My dealer called me already
4.) More bad news coming up with cars already build but blocked because of recalls.
5.) Missing parts do not help customers waiting for there car

What did I miss? If I did not read it wrong here, Christmas break starts around the 15th of December. Everyone who has a VIN# plus build date who can't get build because of missing parts is served first if new parts coming in. (I hope that it works this way). So as we all know, a VIN# doesn't mean anything until the car IS BUILD. And than we hope this car gets not damaged at the lot! :help:

So can anybody tell me exactly when they are supposed to start building retail 5.0 convertibles with auto? Is the 50 yr appearance pkg going to delay it more?

Looks currently like a build week of 11/24 (see the RisingForce scheduling chart a dozen or so posts above).

Papaya, you don't get a VIN unless parts are projected to be available on your scheduled build date for your specific configuration. Unless a parts vendor misses a delivery date, the parts will be there. The constraints lists being posted apply to orders that have NOT been scheduled yet. And since the week 42/43 scheduling is done now, there is no need to worry about constraints until the next list is posted (Monday-Tuesday of next week).

Build dates won't show till Friday the earliest.

I got a VIN! GT Premium Ruby Red Premier 401A PP Nav. I cannot successfully generate a sticker though with this VIN (1FA6P8CF5F5326317); The sticker links don't acknowledge it as a valid VIN (yet?). Perhaps it takes a while? No biggie, glad to be scheduled so quickly, as opposed to the poor souls who ordered earlier for whom I feel bad (Really!)
