I live on long Island so occasionally I go out to Calverton to the old Grumman airport and do a 1/4 mile run on the old runways. Best for me was 12.8 @ 115 well the other day I did 12.3 at 117 I picked up a .5 on my 60 ft time although my 0 to 60 time was still 4.5 what gives. Anyway I'm happy as hell dropping .5 from my 1/4 time. It's a significant improvement.

Traded the nittos for conti extreme contact other than that everything is the same

I've got the Conti Extreme Sport 2 and though I can say they are a good tire, I can also say they definitely do not grab and go like the Nitto rii.

A little then it hooked and off I went.
I had nitto nt05 I find the Conti Extreme hook better but maybe my driving has improved and that's why I find the Conti's to be better. Looking at the Nitto you would think they would be better off the line a lot less tread a lot more slick surface. U think having a bad ass Looking tire would be faster 😆 lol

Stock GT500. Didn't heat up the tires. If they let us take off the gurney and wickers, it probably would've been a few ticks better.

With a tune and a sticky tire, you’re gonna see some low 11’s yourself.
Your are really optimistic. I get excited just thinking of low 11's I think you would also need headers and a E85 tune for low 11's

I’m not so sure that E85 and headers are necessary, but would definitely be good to have for max effort.

My car is a manual and it put down 469 rwhp/434 rwtq on the dyno with E85, LTHs, x-pipe, and PMAS CAI. Here are my time slips from a few 1/4 mile hits before clutch issues surfaced.
