Just to update. Got the car to go 171.88 MPH in the half mile with really bad runway conditions and no traction in first or second. I think the car will do 175 or better with more traction off the line.

I heard the conditions were poor at the airport. I live 20 mins away and heard last year they were questionable at places. I'm doing the pocono roll race. Wanna see how 825rwhp stands up against some of the big boys lol

That's Impressive, if you're still on Stock Motor I believe you have the record as far as im aware. yolodouchebag went 173 in Lunds orange whipple car a few years ago and Injected engineering went 171 in a Hellion car but I believe you have the Fastest stock longblock so far

Any recommendations for tires I can run safely at high speeds with good stability? I asked Nitto tires if they recommend anything and they said they wouldn't recommend any of their tires for the 1/2 mile for my setup. Last time I was in the 160 mph range but was running my MPSS tires and need something stickier. 1st and 2nd are kinda useless being supercharged and having 3.73s lol.

No drag radial is designed for 1/2 mile. That being said everyone runs drag radials. I run the Nitto NT05R. I also see MT ET Street Rs and Toyo R888Rs.
